How AWB numbers and check digits work.
Take the 7-digit serial number (the digits after the 3-digit airline prefix), divide it by 7 and use the remainder (0 to 6) as the 8th digit. For example 1234567 ÷ 7 leaves 5, so the AWB is 176-12345675.
11 digits: a 3-digit airline prefix, a 7-digit serial and a 1-digit check digit, usually written 176-1234 5675.
It's the remainder after dividing by 7, so it can only be 0 to 6. Every serial in your range still gets exactly one AWB number.
Yes. Type 7 digits (serial only) or all 8 digits. If you type 8, the tool checks that the last digit is correct before generating.
